Changing the number of districts in a plan

You can increase and decrease the number of districts in your plan.

Steps:

1. On the Create ribbon, click Districts.

   The District Statistics window appears. The District Statistics window displays the districts in your current plan, the symbology for each district, and the total population count for each district and demographics per district.

2. Change the number of districts in the plan:
   • Enter the number of districts you want in the current plan and hit ENTER.
   • Use the up and down arrows to change the number of districts in the current plan.
Alternately, you can change the number of districts in a plan from the Modify Districts dialog box.
1. On the District Statistics dialog box, click Modify.
2. Highlights the district you want to delete.
3. Click Remove.
