Cancelling a group invitation

As a group owner, you can cancel outstanding group invitations for specific users. This may be helpful if an invitation was sent to a user by mistake.

Steps:
  1. On the Share ribbon, click Manage Groups.

    The Manage Groups dialog box opens. Groups that you own or are a member of are listed.

  2. Click to highlight a group that you own.

    When a group is highlighted, additional information about the group, such as the title, description, owner, created date, and members, is displayed.

  3. Click Manage Users Manage User button.

    The Manage Group Users dialog box opens. This dialog box lets you view members of the group and outstanding group invitations, if any.

  4. Highlight a user from the Outstanding Invitations field.

  5. Click Cancel Invitation.

    The Cancel Invitation dialog box opens to confirm the cancellation.

  6. Click OK.
  7. Repeat steps 4–6, as necessary.
  8. On the Manage Group Users dialog box, click Close.
