Drawing a line

Esri Redistricting Online supports mark-up capabilities to district maps. Mark-up allows you to add annotations to the map to help you visualize key areas or text as you develop a redistricting plan.

Steps:

1. On the Review ribbon, click Draw Line .
2. Click to place the start point of the line on the map.

   Each click of the mouse places a vertext of the line on the map.

3. Double-click to end the line.

Once you have digitized a mark-up feature, you can apply customized attributes, such as changing the line color, transparency, or thickness. For more information on how to customize mark-up features, see Modifying mark-up attributes.
