Identifying layers on the map

The Identify tool, when applied to a feature (by clicking it), opens a window showing the feature's attributes.

Steps:

1. On the Create ribbon, click Identify .

   The Identify Results dialog box opens.

2. Choose a layer from which to identify from the drop-down menu.
3. Click a location on the map.

   Layer information for the selected location is displayed on the Identify Results dialog box. A ToolTip appears when you pause the pointer over the selection on the map.
