Viewing a static thematic map

Esri Redistricting Online lets you apply a static thematic map as a layer in your redistricting plan. You can select from a list of predefined thematic layers to create a thematic map for your redistricting plan.

Note:

Thematic mapping is not available at the VTD level. If you have a district plan in the County-VTD-Block hierarchy, you can only create a thematic map for County and Block.

Steps:

1. On the Create ribbon, click Theme.
2. Select Predefined Theme.
3. Select a geographic level from the drop-down menu.

   The available geographic levels are determined by the district plan.

4. Select a thematic layer from the drop-down menu.

   The thematic map is applied to the map.

   Note:

   The color ramp is displayed in the legend and distinguishes the value range for each color of the thematic map. For more information on viewing the legend, see Displaying the legend.

To clear the static thematic map, click Clear Theme.
