Viewing the overview map

The overview map can be expanded at any time to provide a spatial reference for your map display. As you work at small scales you can expand the overview map to understand the viewing location in relation to a larger map extent.

Steps:

1. Click the maximize overview map arrow .

   The overview map displays. You can see your current display highlighted in the overview map. The overview map provides a spatial reference for your current view in relation to a larger extent.

   Note:

   At any time, you can click the minimize overview map arrow to close the overview map.
