Exporting a plan to KML
Esri Redistricting Online provides the ability to export plans for sharing with other systems and applications. You can export a plan to a KML file for compatibility with ArcGIS Explorer or third-party software such as Google Earth.
Steps:

On the File ribbon, click Export.
- Select KML.
The Export Plan dialog box appears and lets you know the export is complete.
- Click OK.
- Navigate to a location to store the export plan.
- Enter a name for the export and include a file type, for example, Alabama.kmz.Note:
The KMZ file consists of a KML file and zero or more supporting files. By default, the file extension is set to .kmz.
- Click Save.
The exported plan is saved to a KML file in the output directory.
