Modifying service transparency

When you add services to the current Esri Redistricting Online session, you can modify the transparency to change the service appearance. Service and district appearance can be adjusted to be more or less transparent using the Transparency tool.

Note:

The Transparency tool is available for map services you have added to the map from ArcGIS Online or from a service URL. You will also see the Transparency tool available on the Districts layer and for uploaded shapefiles.

Steps:

1. Enable the Search panel by clicking the right arrow next to the scale bar to expand the side panel.
2. Click Content .
3. Click to highlight a map service you added to the map or the Districts layer.

   The Tools ribbon expands to display additional tools.

4. On the Tools ribbon, click Transparency.

   The Transparency slider appears.

5. Adjust the Transparency slider to the desired appearance.
