Setting the default thematic mapping colors

With OnSite Solution, you can set and save the default color palette to be used in the thematic tool.

Steps:
  1. On the Task Menu, click Edit Preferences.

    The Edit Preferences wizard opens.

  2. Click Thematic Map Colors.
  3. Use the two color pallettes to define the color ramp:
    • Click one of the redefined colors on the color pallette.
    • Type an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color code and hit ENTER.
    NoteNote:

    The color pallette on the left will be used to symbolize dense regions. The color pallette on the right will be used to symbolize sparse areas on the thematic map.

  4. Click Apply.
  5. Click Next.

    A confirmation message appears to let you know the preference is saved and provides additional workflows you can explore.

    Additional options

  6. Click one of the following:

    Back to Preferences

    This option returns you to the start panel for the Edit Preferences wizard.

    Additional Tasks

    This option exits the Edit Preferences wizard and launches the Task Menu for additional options.

    Return to Map

    This option exits the Edit Preferences wizard and launches the Task Menu for additional options.
