Using the Find tool

The Find tool lets you quickly navigate to a location on the map. Enter a street address, city, ZIP code, or latitude and longitude coordinates. If multiple matches are found, you will be prompted to select the correct match. Once located, the map zooms to the matched location.

Note:

The Find tool is intended for map navigation only. The Find tool cannot be used to create a study area. See Creating a new study area for detailed steps on how to create a study area.

The Find tools is also country specific. Ensure you are in the correct country before doing a query.

Steps:

1. In the Find tool, enter one of the following locations:
   • Street address
   • City
   • ZIP code
   • Latitude and Longitude

   The query is displayed in the Find text box.

2. Click Find.

   If multiple results match your query, a pop-up dialog box appears. Click to select the correct location.

   The map zooms to the location. The location is noted on the map with a marker.
