Minimum system requirements

The minimum system requirements to install are consistent with the ArcGIS Desktop system requirements.

ESRI applications	ArcGIS 10 Desktop with ArcEditor or ArcInfo license level
Recommended ArcGIS extensions	Maplex Spatial Analyst—for creating contour and magnetic isolines 3D Analyst—for working with z data capture from a surface
Processor	Intel Core Duo, Pentium 4, or Xeon processors (2.2 GHz or higher)
Operating system	Microsoft Windows Server 2003, SP2 Microsoft Windows Server 2008, SP2 Microsoft Windows 7 Microsoft Vista, SP1 or SP2 Microsoft XP, SP3 (hereinafter collectively referred to as Microsoft Windows) Caution: For Windows 7, Vista, and Server 2008, you must start the installer with setup.exe. Starting the installer from the .msi file will cause the software to not install correctly.
RAM	2 GB or higher
.NET Framework	.NET Framework version 3.5 SP1
