An overview of the installation process

The installation procedure includes the following steps:

1. Before you install the software, verify the following:
   • You have administrator rights or elevated privileges.
   • You have the current ArcGIS Desktop 10 software and service packs installed.
2. Install ESRI Production Mapping.
3. Install ESRI Defense Mapping.
4. Optionally install the following:
   • ArcGIS Workflow Manager
   • Task Assistant Manager
   • Tutorials and Sample Data
