The Geolist Table

The table contained within the Geolist Web Part displays the records of SharePoint, ArcGIS Server, and MapIt Spatial Data Service datasets that have been added to the Geolist's associated Map Web Part. The fields shown within the table are determined by the dataset that has been added to the map; the field order and visibility matches those of the source dataset. The table displays the records for one dataset at a time. Which dataset is displayed can easily be changed using the dataset list along the left side of the Geolist.

While the tabular display of datasets you have added to a map is a very useful feature, the Geolist's table also provides a number of interactive functionalities. The use of this part of the Geolist is explained by the diagram and table below.

Number Summary Description
1 Records area Displays the records of the current dataset. You can also interact with this portion of the Geolist by selecting records.

To select a single record, simply click it. You will see both the record and the corresponding map feature become highlighted.

To select multiple records, hold the Ctrl key and click the records you would like to select.

To select a consecutive group of records, first select the first record in the group. Then, move the mouse over the last record in the group, using the scroll bar to scroll to the record if necessary. With the mouse over the last record, hold the Shift key and click. All the records between the first and last will be selected.
