Removing an image server

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

When you remove a server from the Image Servers list in the Image Server Manager, it will continue to run. If you want to remove it permanently, you must stop the service provider, stop the server, then remove it from the list.

Steps:
  1. In the Image Servers list, click the server name of the server you want to remove.
  2. Click File > Remove Server.
  3. Click Yes to remove the server.
