Installing and uninstalling the ArcGIS Image Server client for MicroStation

The installation of ArcGIS Image Server MicroStation client is performed through a wizard. The MicroStation client has to be installed in the MicroStation home folder.

The installation includes the MicroStation client, as well as the Image Server Viewer application. The Image Server Viewer is a simple client application that allows you to view an image service. It can be used to test your connection to the server.

Installing the MicroStation client

Steps:
  1. Insert the DVD into the computer and navigate to the DVD's contents with Explorer.

    If the autorun option on your machine is turned off, you can launch the DVD by double-clicking the ESRI.exe.

  2. Double-click the ClientInstalls folder.

    The folder lists the various client applications.

  3. Double-click the MicroStation Client folder.
  4. Double-click the Setup.msi Windows installer package.
  5. Follow the Install Wizard to successfully install the ArcGIS Image Server MicroStation client.

Uninstalling the MicroStation client

Steps:
  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
    NoteNote:

    In Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 you can choose to remove a program from within the Programs and Features list.

  3. Click ArcGIS Image Server MicroStation Client in the Currently Installed Programs list.
  4. Click the Remove button.
  5. Click Yes.

    The ArcGIS Image Server MicroStation client is uninstalled from your machine.
