Saving an image service as a layer file

In ArcMap and ArcGlobe, you can save the image service as a layer file, which can be used as any other layer file in ArcGIS.

Steps:

1. Right-click an image service layer in the ArcMap table of contents and click Save As Layer File.
2. Browse to a location and type a name with which to save the file.
3. Click Save.
