AutoCAD client limitations

There are some limitations for the current version of the ArcGIS Image Server AutoCAD client, including the following:

• You cannot do an auto refresh view operation with AutoCAD versions 2004 and earlier while a transparent AutoCAD command is in progress. For example, in 2004 and earlier versions, if you are digitizing with the PLINE command and perform a transparent Zoom or Pan, the ArcGIS Image Server client will close the polyline command and do a screen refresh. In 2005 and later versions, this does not pose a problem and will be handled as a background process, and any running commands will not be affected.
• It is possible to view image services with one and three bands only.
• It is not possible to view services greater than 8 bits.
