Plotting an image service using IS_Plot command

Prerequisite:

Before using the IS_Plot command, a custom plot configuration has to be created and set as the default. This is essential to enable the IS_Plot command work correctly.

The ArcGIS Image Server AutoCAD client application allows you to plot an image service with high resolution using the IS_Plot command. This command also allows you to request high-resolution imagery for plotting.

Steps:
  1. Ensure that the plot configuration is already set and an image server connection is loaded.
  2. Type IS_Plot in the AutoCAD command prompt window.

    The Select Plot Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  3. Choose the plot configuration.
  4. Check the Use current extents check box to plot the current extents of the view.

    This prints the high-resolution imagery of the specified extents directly to a plotter using the selected plot configuration.

    If you do not check the checkbox, you areprompted to pick two points defining the plot area, after which the plot dialog boxis displayed.

  5. Click OK to plot.
