Retrieves the linear unit of measure of a geocentric coordinate system
PE_UNIT pe_geoxyzcs_unit (PE_GEOXYZCS geoxyzcs);
geoxyzcs | Geocentric coordinate system object |
This function retrieves the linear units of a geocentric coordinate system. A geocentric coordinate system is a 3D Cartesian system. The X axis lies in the plane of the equator and points in the direction of the prime meridian (usually Greenwich). The Y axis is 90 degrees away in the plane of the equator, and the Z axis points north in a right-handed system.
Note: Currently, geocentric coordinate systems are not supported by the ArcSDE or ArcGIS software.
On success, the linear units of the specified geocentric coordinate system object. On failure, a null pointer.
PE_UNIT u = pe_geoxyzcs_unit(xyz);
