Compare Sites

You can perform quick, on-screen comparisons of your recently created sites without creating a report. The four most recent sites added to the map will automatically populate the dialog box; however, you can delete sites or add more. Comparison results can be exported to Excel and a more detailed comparison report is available.

Click Compare Reports.

Compare Sites can be found in the Find Location, Draw Polygon, Select Geographies, and Import File panes.

The Compare Reports screen appears.

You can select the view using the toggle for graph view or table view. Table view is the default.

By default, the sites selected have only one of the applied values visible, for example, 5 minute drive time. You can click Expand rings, drive times, or donuts check box to view your sites with information you provided for the radius or time when creating your site.

The Popular tab appears by default. The other available tabs are Population, Households, Income, and Housing.

Table View

Table View presents the comparison data in a tabular view and provides options for manipulating the table.

As in the Graphs view, you can select the values. The arrow below the site name allows you to select the different mile rings or minutes.

To delete a site, click the x in the box to the right of the site name. The site will be deleted.

Click Print to print the report.

Click Export to Excel to export the table to an Excel file.

Graphs View

The Graphs View offers selections different from Table View.

Sites appear on the X-axis and the values appear on the Y-axis. The arrow below the site name allows you to select the different mile rings or minutes, which are shown in the respective graph.

Note:

The Households tab does not include this capability.

The variables drop-down list provides preselected variables from which you can choose.

Click Print to print the report.

Click Export to Excel to export the table to an Excel file.

To add more sites

Steps:

1. Click Add more sites.

   The Select Sites dialog box appears.

2. Click the check box for the site you want to add.
3. Click Ok.

   The Compare Sites screen appears with your addition.

   You can choose from Popular, Population, Households, Income, and Housing to view the results of your site comparison.

To create a detailed comparison report

Steps:

1. Click Create detailed comparison report.

The Create Comparison Report screen appears where you can create your detailed comparison report.
