Command line options
ArcPad provides several command line options, or switches, to support advanced startup configurations. To use command line options, include the desired options after the path to ArcPad at the command line or in the Target field when creating a desktop shortcut.
Note:
Paths that include spaces between words must be enclosed in quotation marks (") and are case sensitive. You need to use the full path when creating desktop shortcuts. For example: "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcPad 10.0\ArcPad.exe" /nosplash.
- /nosplash—Starts ArcPad without displaying the splash screen.
- /noaccel—Disables all accelerator keys in ArcPad (for example, Ctrl-Q to quit ArcPad).
- /nostatusbar—Suppresses the status bar from being displayed when ArcPad starts.
