Steps to modify the standard toolbars

Each time you launch ArcPad the standard tools are displayed. You can remove or add tools to these toolbars from within ArcPad.

Steps:

1. Choose Customize Toolbars from the Quick Access menu.

   This option is only available in Design Mode.

2. Ensure the Toolbar Group selected is ArcPad.apx.
3. To remove existing tools, select the tool from the tree on the right-hand side of the dialog box, and tap the left facing arrow.

   You can also remove tools by dragging the tool off the tree on the right-hand side of the dialog box.

4. To add a tool to an existing toolbar, first ensure the destination toolbar is highlighted, then select the desired tool from the complete list on the left-hand side, and tap the right facing arrows.

   You can also add tools by dragging the tool from the complete list on the left-hand side of the dialog box to the tree on the right.

5. To add a new toolbar, select the toolbar icon from the list on the left and tap the right facing arrow.

   You can also add a new toolbar by dragging the toolbar icon from the list on the left to the tree on the right.

6. Rename the new toolbar by double-clicking on the toolbar name and change the text.
