Activating the ArcPad Today plug-in

The ArcPad Today Plug-in is automatically activated when it is installed on to your Windows Mobile device. There are two methods for activating or deactivating the ArcPad Today Plug-in once it has been installed.

• From within ArcPad.
• From the Device Settings.

Activating from within ArcPad

You can activate or deactivate the ArcPad Today Plug-in from within ArcPad by checking or unchecking the ‘Enable Today Screen Plug-in’ checkbox. This checkbox is located on the General page of the ArcPad Options dialog box.

Activating from the device Settings

You can also activate or deactivate the ArcPad Today Plug-in from the Items page of the Today settings. Tap Start>Settings and the following screen appears.

Today settings are located on the Personal page of the device’s Settings, as shown in the screenshot above.

Click on the Today icon and then on the Items, as shown below.

This will activate the 'ArcPad Today' plug-in. In order to deactivate the ArcPad Today plug-in, uncheck the box besides the ArcPad Today, as shown in the screenshot above.

Alternatively, you can uncheck the 'Enable Today Screen Plug-in' box in ArcPad Options.(General Tab)
