Installing the ArcPad Today plug-in

The ArcPad Today Plug-in is a small, configurable Today screen plug-in for Windows Mobile devices. The ArcPad Today Plug-in allows you to have quick access to useful tools and to monitor important device status information from the Today screen of your Windows Mobile device.

The ArcPad Today Plug-in shows five tools by default, but the Plug-in can be customized by adding or removing tools.

The ArcPad Today Plug-in can be installed on to your Windows Mobile device through ArcPad Deployment Manager. When you select the ArcPad Deployment Manager, the folllowing screen comes up.

On this screen select the ‘Install ArcPad Today Plug-in for Windows Mobile’ option, and then click Deploy. It is important to have a synchronization connection between your PC and Windows Mobile device. This connection can be established either using Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center.
