Extent

The Extent tab is used to set the map extent or to center the map at specified coordinates.

Center

When Center is selected, the map will be recentered on, or pan to, the specified coordinates. The change in map extent is applied when the Map Properties dialog box is closed by tapping ok.

The default is the coordinates at the center of the current map extent.

Extent

When Extent is selected, the map extent will change to the specified coordinates. The change in map extent is applied when the Map Properties dialog box is closed by tapping ok.

The default is the Extent chosen, with the coordinates of the current map extent.
