Transparency

The Transparency tab is used to specify the transparency settings for the layer. The transparent color and the layer transparency can be specified for shapefile, ArcPad AXF, graphics, photo, ArcIMS, and image layers. These two transparency settings work independently of each other.

Transparent Color

Tap the button to specify the color to be transparent, or invisible, when the layer is drawn. For image layers, it is useful to set the transparent color to the background color so that ArcPad does not display the background color for rotated images.

The default is no color selected.

Transparency

Use the slider to specify the amount of transparency for the entire layer. The range of transparency is from 0% (i.e. opaque, or no transparency) to 100% (i.e. completely transparent).

The default is 0%, i.e. opaque or no transparency.
