The ArcIMS Web ADF for the Microsoft .NET Framework installation process, when performed on the Windows Vista operating system, requires specific components of Internet Information Services (IIS). If these components are not installed, the Web Applications feature will not be available. The required IIS components are detailed below.
Steps to add/remove IIS components on Windows Vista
1) Open the Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off (found under Programs and Features)
2) Expand the Internet Information Services feature.
3) Verify the IIS components listed below are turned on.
Note: a filled box means only that part of the feature is turned on. A checkmark indicates the feature is completely installed.
The following IIS components must be installed when performing an installation on Windows Vista. If these components are not installed, the Web Applications feature will not be available.
