Uninstalling ArcGIS Server for the Java Platform silently

Performing a silent uninstallation of ArcGIS Server for the Java Platform does not require an X display or any user interaction during the uninstallation process.

The following steps will guide you through a silent uninstallation of ArcGIS Server for the Java Platform:

Steps:

1. Launch the silent Uninstallation by running <ArcGIS Server Installation Directory>/scripts/uninstallArcGISServer -s. The uninstallation must be run as root.
If you installed ArcGIS Server using the silent installation, the silent uninstallation will use the backup options that were provided in the properties file at installation. Otherwise, the silent uninstallation will back up the ArcGIS Server configuration files to /tmp/arcgis_server_backup.
