Finding your Amazon account number

Each Amazon account has a name and e-mail address associated with it, as well as a 12-digit account number. When you have an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) shared with you, or when you share an AMI with another Amazon account, you may need to provide this number. Below is one way you can find out your account number.

Steps:

1. Log in to the AWS Management Console.
2. In the top menu of links, click Account.
3. Click Account Activity.
4. Find the welcome message in the upper right corner and note the 12-digit account number immediately below. The number is in the form xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
