View Field Crew task

Often field projects are accomplished by a field crew rather than an individual field-worker. When working as part of a field crew, you can use the View Field Crew task to collaborate with other workers that are in the field.

The View Field Crew task displays a list of field crew members. For field crew members, you are notified the last time that they updated their locations along with their distance from you.

By selecting a field crew member in the list, you can choose from a list of ways to interact with that field crew member.

Depending on the device and information entered about the field-worker, you can do the following:

• Browse to the field-worker's location on the map
• View crew details
• Call him or her
• SMS him or her

Signing in

When you first open a project that contains the View Field Crew task, you will need to sign in. A list of field crew members will be presented for you to choose from. If your name is not on the list, tap New to create a new entry. You will be asked for your user name, your phone number, and e-mail address. Your sign-in information will be maintained for the lifetime of the project. If you close the project, you will need to pick from the list once again.
