ArcGIS Mobile supported layer and data types

Only a subset of the map layer types that you can create in ArcMap is supported in a mobile service published for ArcGIS Mobile applications. Those supported layers include the following:

Archive layers are treated as simple feature layers.

Network analysis layer

Network analysis layers are dynamic, and results are stored in memory. They are not supported.

Terrain layer

The breaklines and mass point feature layers that comprise a terrain layer are supported. The terrain layer itself is not.

TIN layers are not supported.

Coverage annotation layer

Coverage annotation layers are not supported.

Dimension layer

Dimension layers are not supported.

Tracking layer

No

Tracking layers created using Tracking Analyst are not supported.

Representation layer

No

Feature layers cannot use representation rendering functionality. Overrides are not supported.

Schematics layer
