Remove a connection to an online GIS

Online geographic information systems (GIS) platforms, such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Online for organizations, and Portal for ArcGIS, host maps that you can open on your Windows Phone device. To see the available content, connect the ArcGIS for Windows Phone application to an online GIS. Once you have a connection you no longer use, you can remove it from the app by taking the following steps:

NoteNote:

While you can also use the application to access content on a mobile content server, the maps stored there don't have the same connection and account experience. See Manage mobile content server connections.

Steps:
  1. Open the main application and go to the Map Hub.
  2. Swipe to the settings panel.
  3. Tap connection.

    The connection page displays.

  4. Tap and hold the connection.

The context menu for managing connections appears.

    NoteNote:

You cannot remove the currently used connection.

  5. Tap delete.

The connection and all its setting are removed from your phone.
