Open a recently viewed map

The maps panel of the Map Hub provides quick access to recently opened maps. Take the following steps to open a recently accessed map:

Tip:

Your recently opened maps are listed on a connection-by-connection basis. If you connect to an online geographic information system (GIS), browse for maps, then connect to a second GIS and browse for maps, your list of recent maps will only reflect those opened from the currently-connected GIS, not from all the connections you've used.

Steps:

1. Go to the Map Hub.
2. Swipe to the maps panel if you're not already there.

   The map tiles on the screen are the four maps you most recently opened while connected to this online GIS.

   Note:

   This area is pre-populated with popular maps when you connect to an online GIS for the first time.

3. Tap a thumbnail to open one of the recent maps.
