Browse map galleries

Online geographic information system (GIS) platforms, such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Online for organizations, and Portal for ArcGIS, include galleries of maps. These galleries present collections of maps. The featured gallery contains content featured by the online GIS—maps that the administrators of the system have specified as important, interesting, or useful. Other galleries, including highest rated, most viewed, and most recent are auto-populated galleries that help users find maps of those types.

NoteNote:

The collection samples gallery is only available if you're connected to ArcGIS Online. It's a special collection of maps used to demonstrate data collection on the device. These are maps that are publically available and editable. The data stored in them is reset on a regular basis.

To find a map by browsing a map gallery, follow these steps:

Steps:
  1. Go to the Map Hub.
  2. Swipe to the gallery panel.
