View the legend

Once you have a map open in the ArcGIS for Windows Phone application, you can view the legend for that map. The legend identifies what the symbology shown in the map represents.

To view the legend of a map, follow these steps:

1. Tap the contents icon on the app bar to display the map contents.

   The Map Contents pivot displays on the layers panel.

2. Swipe to the legend panel.

   The legend is generated and then shown. If no features in the map participate in the legend, you'll see "No legend."

The legend for your map is displayed, and you can see the meaning of the symbology shown in the open map.
