Description

This sample demonstrates how to specify a home page and a start page for a project.

How to use

1. Open the project within Visual Studio 2008 and load the sample project. Refer to the "Setting up development environment" section for how to set up your development machine.
2. Build and deploy the mobile project assembly file (comes with the sample project) to <ArcGIS Mobile installation path>\bin\Extensions folder on your desktop where you will author your mobile project with the Mobile Project Center application.
3. In Mobile Project Center, add SelectTaskExtension to your project on the Capabilities tab.
4. Deploy your mobile project. Refer to the "Deploying extensions" section for more information.
5. Start the Windows application and open the project. The project now has a start page and a customized home page instead of the View Map page as the default project home page. It is recommended that you set HomePage to SelectTaskPage and use an alternative task list page as your project home page.
