Settings Extension

Description

This sample demonstrates how to add a customized setting page to the ArcGIS Mobile for Windows application.

How to use

1. Open the project within Visual Studio 2008 and load the sample project. Refer to the "Setting up development environment" section for how to set up your development machine.
2. Build and deploy the mobile project assembly file (comes with the sample project) to <ArcGIS Mobile installation path>\bin\Extensions folder on your desktop where you will author your mobile project with the Mobile Project Center application.
3. In Mobile Project Center, add SettingsExtension to your project on the Capabilities tab.
4. Deploy your mobile project. Refer to the "Deploying extensions" section for more information.
5. Start the Windows application, open the mobile project, then choose Settings from the application global menu.
6. On the Settings page, tap the My Setting button. A setting page opens.
