Nearby Sample

The purpose of this sample is to leverage your devices GPS position to zoom to your location on the map. When you click on the either of the bottom buttons, coffee denoting local coffee shops or beer mug denoting bars, the respective shops in your area are displayed on the map.

How to use the Sample:

Steps:

1. Load the sample on your device.
2. Click the Coffee button in the lower right hand button.
3. View the results of the nearby coffee shops as graphic elements displayed on the map.
4. Click on the graphic to display a callout with the name and rating of the facility.
5. Repeat the steps using the Beer Mug button to see nearby bars.
