Removing the plug-ins

The following topic illustrates how you can remove the Esri-provided plug-ins from your Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE).

Removing Esri's plug-ins

It may be necessary for you to remove the Esri-provided plug-ins from your instance of Eclipse. The following steps show you how to remove them:

1. Click Eclipse's help menu and choose the install new software option.
2. In the installation wizard, click the already installed link.
3. Ensure the installed software tab is selected on the Eclipse installation details dialog box.
4. Choose ArcGIS for Android Core and ArcGIS for Android Doc and Samples from the list and click uninstall.
5. On the uninstall dialog box, confirm that both plug-ins are listed.
6. Click finish to remove the plug-ins.
7. Restart Eclipse when requested.

The plug-ins provided by Esri are now removed from your instance of Eclipse. To verify this, you can follow steps 1 - 3 fromabove to return to the Eclipse installation details dialog box and verify that the two plug-ins are no longer present.
