Use the dashboard

When you open a map that includes a dashboard, the dashboard panel will be displayed automatically. As you select features in a layer with configured gadgets, the gadgets in the dashboard will update with information from the features you selected. You can select features in the map by clicking on them. Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard to add or remove features from the selection. You can also select features by clicking the Select Features button and dragging a box around the features you want to select.

Some gadgets may be configured to show a comparison between features. These appear as identical gadgets displayed side-by-side. The left gadget displays properties about the selected feature or features, and the right gadget displays information about the feature that your pointer is paused over.

As you move your pointer over different features, the gadget on the right will display the value for that feature. This makes it easy to see how the properties of one feature compare with other feature(s) in the layer.
