Set pop-up window title and description
By configuring the pop-up windows for a layer based on a map or feature service, a title and description can be defined for each pop-up window. A title can be either be a specific name, or taken from an attribute of a feature. The description of a feature can be either a piece of descriptive text, or alternatively can be a single attribute or table of attributes of the feature.
To set the title or description, you must open the Configure Pop-ups dialog box for the layer you want to configure.

How to set the title of a pop-up window
The title appears at the top of the pop-up window. To specify the title for the pop-up window, type it in the Title box.
You can include attributes of the feature in the title by clicking the insert attribute field button and choosing a field. For example below you can see a combination of specific text and attributes forming the title:
How to set the description of a pop-up
The description is text that appears at the top of the pop-up window. To specify the description for the pop-up window, enter text into the Description box, as described in the sections below. The description can be a simple attribute value list, the value of a single attribute field, a custom description or you can have no description at all. In a similar way to the title, you can combine attribute values with specific text when using a custom description.
How to display a list of field values as the description
To set the description to be a list of fields (attributes) and their values, select the Attribute List option. You can check the fields you’d like to include when listing the attributes in the attributes list.
When the pop-up window is displayed, the attributes and their values are displayed in a list.
Note that you can change the order that the fields are listed as well as the label used to describe the field in the field list by setting the field properties for the pop-up window.
How to display the value of a field as the description
To set the description to be the value of a single attribute field in the feature, select the Single Field option and choose the field from the drop-down list.
When the pop-up window is displayed, the value of the selected field is displayed for the description.
How to display a custom description
You can create a custom description which includes formatted text, bullets, links to other web sites and so on. To specify a custom expression, select the Custom option, and then type the description.
You can use the buttons on the toolbar to format the text and insert field values as part of the description. You can also include links in the description and use static text or field values for the label and the link’s URL.
When the pop-up window is displayed, the custom description is displayed and you can click any of the links you’ve included to open the linked website in another browser window.
How to display no description
If you don't want to include a description in your pop-up window, select the None option.
When the pop-up window is displayed, no description will be displayed.
