A synchronous (blocking) call which returns a new Point at the location of the next mouse click on the display.
Namespace:
ESRI.ArcGISExplorer.MappingAssembly: ESRI.ArcGISExplorer (in ESRI.ArcGISExplorer.dll) Version: 2.0.0.1500 (2.0.0.1500)
Syntax
Return Value
A new Point defined by a mouse click on the display.Remarks
The TrackPoint method is the simplest way to return a user-clicked location on the map, for example as used by the Point Note tool in the application. Alternative methods are available to track polylines, polygons, and vectors.
This method will block the user interface (UI) thread until the user has clicked on the display. The method can be cancelled if the ESC key is pressed after the method has been called or the CancelTracking()()() method is called; in this case the method will return nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
Alternatively you may wish to use an asynchronous equivalent, see the BeginTrackPoint methods.
