Add-ins compiled with ArcGIS Explorer 1500 will no longer be compatible with previous versions of ArcGIS Explorer, due to the introduction of these new APIs. Add-ins compiled against previous versions of ArcGIS Explorer will continue to run in ArcGIS Explorer 1500 as API compatibility is maintained; however it is recommended that any add-ins are tested with all new releases as minor changes in underlying application behavior or functionality may cause problems in an add-in.
