Install Guide for Esri Roads and Highways for Server

Overview

This topic covers the procedures for installing Esri Roads and Highways for Server. Before installing the software, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

1. You have administrator rights or elevated privileges.
2. You must have ArcGIS for Server Standard or Advanced installed.

The installation procedure includes the following steps:

Steps:

1. Log in to the system as administrator.
2. Close any open sessions of ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
3. Access the Esri Roads and Highways for Server installation media.
   • If you have a DVD, place it in the appropriate drive.
   • If you have the setup stored on a local drive, navigate to the correct location on your machine.

   The installation menu automatically appears. If the installation media is on the hard drive, then double-click Esri.exe to start the installation menu.

   
4. Follow the instructions on each page of the wizard to progress through the installation setup.
5. Click Finish to complete the installation.
6. After completing the installation setup, restart the ArcGIS Server SOC and SOM services on the server to complete the process.
7. After installing the software, you must authorize it before use.
