Editing data using unit conversion
If you need to convert units, for example, between English and metric, the ESRI Nautical Solution provides a mechanism for configuring unit conversion and rounding rules, applying those rules for importing into the geodatabase, exporting to S-57 format, then editing and labeling in ArcGIS.
You can configure your own unit conversion and rounding rules using the product library workspace XML file that is included in the Nautical Solution.
