Editing profile views

A profile view can be moved around the page layout and move as a single entity; individual profile elements resize accordingly when the entire graphic is resized. You also have the ability to interactively change the dimensions of a profile view using resize handles.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click View > Layout View.
3. Click the Select Elements tool on the Tools toolbar.
4. Click and drag the profile view to move it.
5. Click and drag a control handle in one of the corners of the profile view to resize it.

   Individual profile elements move or resize accordingly when the entire graphic is resized.
