Flashing an area of interest in the map

You can display a component in the map from the Product Library window. For example, you can display the area of interest for a single product or multiple areas of interest for a series.

Once several areas of interest are displayed in the map, you can locate one particular area of interest by flashing it in the map display. For instance, you could display areas of interest for all the products within a map series and individually flash them in the map display to see where they are located in relation to one another.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, open the Product Library window by clicking Customize > Production > Product Library on the main menu.

A tree view of the product library appears.
