Toggling the Auto-pick functionality

The turn Auto-Pick On/Off button command ensures that the point collected is actually associated with a feature in the map. For example, having the snapping enabled ensures that the point is aligned with a feature in the reference layer. By default, this functionality is enabled.

Steps:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, load data in the map.
  3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Data Reviewer.
  4. On the Data Reviewer toolbar, click Data Reviewer > Positional Accuracy Assessment.

The Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar appears.

  5. Start a PAAT session.
  6. Click the Auto-Pick Off button Auto-Pick Off on the Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar.

    The snapping functionality is disabled.

  7. TipTip:

To enable snapping, click the Auto-Pick On button Auto-Pick On on the Positional Accuracy Assessment toolbar.
