Inverting the selection

You can invert rules you select on the Visual Specifications Advanced View dialog box.

Steps:

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Click the Visual Specifications button on the Production Symbology toolbar.

   The Visual Specifications dialog box appears.

3. Click Advanced.

   The Visual Specifications Advanced View dialog box appears displaying rules saved in the selected specifications.

4. Click and drag inside the rules table to select rules.
5. Click Options > Switch Selection.

The rules selected are inverted.
