Displaying a component in the map

You can display the areas of interest that are stored in the product library as layers to the active map. For example, you can display the area of interest for a single product or multiple areas of interest for a series.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, open the Product Library window by clicking Customize > Production > Product Library on the main menu.

A tree view of the product library appears.

  3. Navigate to the component you want to display in the map.
  4. Check the check box next to the component.

The polygon that represents the component appears in the map.

You can uncheck the check box you checked to clear the displayed component.

If you check the check box next to a product that has more than one instance, a single feature that represents multiple areas of interest is displayed.

You can display all the areas of interest for an entire product class or series by checking the check box next to the name of the product class or series.
